Addis Ababa to host Russia-Africa forum for journalists

Russia is organising a roundtable between Russian and African journalists in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa with the aim of  creating a platform for exchange of experience s between Russian and African media.

The forum, tagged, “Russia-Africa: The Way of Friendship and Cooperation” will hold from 22 to 23 April, according to ENA, a partner of TV BRICS.

Organisers of the forum promise a rich programme: analytical reports and discussions.

Among the participants are leading journalists from Russia, and representatives of the media community from Botswana, Ghana, Guinea, Cameroon, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, and Ethiopia.

The programme also includes online sessions.

In particular, there will be a teleconference entitled “The Way of Friendship and Cooperation,” as well as four lectures on the interaction between Russia and African countries.

Russia is organising the forum with the assistance of the Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund, a partner of TV BRICS.

The fund is a Russian non-profit organisation that is active in the field of international relations and cultural diplomacy.

The main goal of the foundation is to strengthen ties between Russia and foreign countries. (TV BRICS/NAN)
