The patriarch of the Aledeh family of Agbede in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, Alhaji Ahmed Alli Aledeh (Namedi), is dead.
He was 80.
According to a report by Gatekeepers News, Alhaji Aledeh passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) about 2:30 pm.
Alhaji Aledeh was a pioneer staff member of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, where he served meritoriously and voluntarily retired over two decades ago.
Until his death, he was a devout Muslim and community leader.
In a release by his eldest child, Hon. Hud Aledeh, Pa Aledeh would be buried in his hometown of Agbede on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, by 10 am.
He is survived by his wives, children, grandchildren, and other relatives.
Among his children is a veteran journalist with Arise News and publisher of Gatekeepers News, Sulaiman Aledeh.
