Erik Ten Hag could be heading to Borussia Dortmund as the new manager after he was dismissed by Manchester United.
The Red Devils announced the sack of Erik ten Hag on Monday, a day after he led them to a 2-1 defeat to West Ham United in the Premier League.
The Bundesliga side are hoping to appoint the Dutchman.
Manchester United started the 2024-25 season in a disastrous manner, winning just four games in 14 matches across competitions.
And now, Spanish website Fichajes.net is reporting that Dortmund are keeping close tabs on the situation of the former Ajax man with Nuri Sahin’s job currently under scrutiny.
They are said to be aiming to appoint Ten Hag due to his focus on developing talented youngsters.
Sahin has opened the ongoing 2024-25 campaign on a poor note.
Under him, Dortmund sit in seventh place in the league table with 13 points from eight games.
