Award-winning singer and record label executive Davido has announced plans to release his new single, Awuke, on October 31.
The single is set for release ahead of his 32nd birthday, scheduled for November 21.
The upcoming single features U.S. singer YG Marley.
Davido confirmed the single’s release in a recent Instagram post.
He accompanied the post with the caption, “Awuke with YG Marley drops on October 31st. Get ready for the motion.”
The Grammy nominee has been teasing the project for weeks.
He first hinted at the project while celebrating Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day and again recently at American singer Lauryn Hill’s concert in Paris, France.
Awuke follows the release of Joy, a duet featuring Angelique Kidjo.
