The Honourable Minister of Defense, H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, has reassured the government and people of Katsina State of the Federal Government’s unwavering support in the fight against insurgency and banditry.
During his courtesy visit to the State, Badaru reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to securing Nigeria from all forms of insecurity threats. He stated that the Ministry of Defense will partner with other security agencies to restore security to the state and ensure a peaceful farming season.
The Minister’s visit to Katsina state military formations is aimed at boosting troop morale, assessing operational modalities, and exploring ways to support the Military in the fight against insurgency.
Governor Dikko Umar, represented by Deputy Governor Alh. Faruk Lawan, commended the Minister’s commitment to ensuring adequate security for Katsina State and Nigeria. He thanked the Minister for his tireless support in ending insecurity in the State.
