Emir of Ilorin’s spokesman, Arowona inducted as NIPR Member

Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Spokesman to the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has been inducted as a member of the Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

The event was held on Thursday at the Nigeria Television Authority, Area 11, Garki Abuja with other members of the Guild Of Corporate Online Publisher (GOCOP) under the leadership of their President, Maureen Chigbo, also inducted among other prominent media practitioners.

According to a provisional approval letter signed by the NIPR Registrar, Uzoma Onyegbadue, “The Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) is professional body established by Decree 16 of June 1, 1990. Now an Act of Parliament to regulate the practice of Public Relations in Nigeria as well as determine what standards of knowledge and skills are to be attained by Public Relations Practitioners.

“This is to inform you that the Institute has given a professional approval to your application for membership of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations, haven met the prescribed criteria for induction.”
