Olatunji Disu, Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has lost his son in a fatal car accident on Monday.
According to media reports, the devastating loss had left the family in deep sorrows.
Details of the incident were still unclear as of press time.
The family of the FCT police boss had also yet to release an official statement ad of press time.
CP Disu, who recently assumed leadership of the FCT Police Command, has received an overwhelming outpouring of condolences from colleagues, friends, and the public.
Meanwhile, a report by Sahara Reports said that CP Disu had paid a condolence visit on Monday to CSP A.A. Sambo, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ushafa Division, who recently lost his own son.
During the visit, Disu reportedly expressed profound sympathies and pledged the Command’s support to Sambo and his family.
