Flood: Zulum hosts Dantata, Deputy Senate President, Marwa, Obi and others

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State hosted key figures, including Aminu Dantata, the Deputy Senate President (DSP), Barau Jibril, former governors Peter Obi and Buba Marwa, and other influential stakeholders.

The Deputy Senate President led a delegation of the Nigerian Senate comprising the chairman of northern and southern senators’ forums and some principal officers of the Senate.

Other visitors to the Government House in Maiduguri on Tuesday include members of the National Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the Taraba State Government delegation led by the Speaker of the House of Assembly, and Borno’s PDP governorship aspirant, Alhaji Mohammed Imam.

On Tuesday, similarly, a southern Borno delegation led by the Deputy Governor, Umar Usman Kadafur, was at the government house to sympathise with the governor.

Al-Amanah Aid Organization was also in Maiduguri to condole the government and people of Borno State over the flood disaster that struck Maiduguri and its environs.
