The notorious Bandits leader who masterminded the kidnapping of female students of Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) alongside construction workers, Ali Alhaji Alheri, popularly known as Kachalla Ali Kawaje, is dead.
Radio Nigeria correspondent attached to Operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD) reports that on Monday, December 11, 2023, the Nigerian Air Force air strike killed the notorious Bandit Ali Kawaje alongside his foot soldiers.
A senior military officer in the OPHD revealed that Kachalla Kawaje was killed in Niger State during the air strike by the NAF.
He also noted that on December 6, 2023, the NAF air strike hit the camps of Ali Kachalla and Dogo Gide, during which several notorious bandits and kingpins were killed.
Those killed were Machika, Dogo Gide’s younger brother and IED producer trained by Ansaru, a top commander in Gide’s group called Haro, and Dan Muhammadu, a kidnapping and assault specialist in Dogo Gide’s camp.
The Bandits leaders killed were known to be hibernating in Kamuku National Park in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State; Kuyambana Game Reserve I’m Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State; and Kainji Lake National Park in Mashegu, Magama, and Borgu Local Government Areas of Niger State.
