…Shares bags of rice to widows, vulnerable persons
On Saturday, October 27, 2024, Mr. Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd, reached out to no fewer than 150 widows and vulnerable individuals with food items and cash gifts in the Ajegunle community of Lagos State.
It was part of events to celebrate his 50th birthday, which comes up on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
Soneye provided over 150 widows with 10 kgs of rice, sugar, salt, and olive oil for cooking as well as grains. He also distributed detergents and other items to them.
The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude, with many offering prayers after receiving the gifts.
Soneye stated that the gesture was his way of celebrating the milestone by giving back to the vulnerable in society.
