President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been presented with a bullion of artisanally mined Nigerian gold, by the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr. Dele Alake.
In the delegation, was the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Solid Minerals Development Fund (SMDF), Hajiya Fatima Umaru Shinkafi who is also the Managing Director of the Presidential Artisanal Gold Mining Development Initiative (PAGMI).
Transactions in gold has led to a significant increased in the country’s foreign reserves by five million Dollars.
