Popular Korean actor, Song Jae-Rim, who is best known for his role in the K-drama ‘The Moon Embracing The Sun’, has reportedly passed away.
Korean news sources report that Jae Rim was found dead in his residence in Seoul’s Seongdong area on November 12.
THE TRUTH understands that the actor died at age 39.
A two-page note was reportedly found at the scene.
The reason for his death has not been disclosed to the public, but there are circulating rumors on social media suggesting he may have taken his own life.
Authorities have stated that there are currently no indications of any criminal activity and that the investigation into Jae Rim’s passing is still in progress.
The funeral arrangements for Song Jae Rim are set to occur at a funeral parlor in Yeouido on November 14.
Born on February 18, 1985, Jae Rim began his journey in the entertainment industry as a model, gracing the covers of various magazines.
He ventured into acting in 2009 and gained recognition for his role in ‘The Moon Embracing The Sun’, a drama series that aired in 2012.
Since then, Jae Rim has appeared in films such as ‘Give Me Back My Cat’, ‘Grand Prix’, ‘The Suspect’, ‘On Your Wedding Day’, ‘The Snub’, ‘Good Morning’, and ‘Tunnel 3D’.
Others include ‘Unkind Ladies’, ‘Two Weeks’, and ‘Queen Woo’.
