The leadership of the 10th Senate has donated N109m to Kaduna State government to support the victims of Tudun Biri drone attack.
The Senate President, Senator Godwill Akpabio announced the donation on Sunday when he led the Senate Delegation on a condolence visit to Governor Uba Sani at government house Kaduna.
He said the fund would be made available to Governor Uba Sani as their December Salary.
Senator Godswill Akpabio represented by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin said the purpose of the visit was to sympathized and condole the government and people of Kaduna over the unfortunate incident that happened at Tudun Biri.
He said the leadership of the Senate was disturbed by the incident and is working closely with the Presidency to unravel the circumstances surrounding the accidental bombing of innocent.
The Governor, Uba Sani thanked the senators for their show of empathy for the victims, but however, called on the National Assembly to support the Federal Government in probing the bomb incident.
