…Charges couple on loyalty, patience, understanding
The Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, on Saturday, November 30, 2024, attended the wedding ceremony of his Special Assistant (Political Matters), Mr. Solomon Joseph Itopa, to his wife, Mrs. Ohunene, in Abuja.
Prince Audu, who graced the wedding ceremony as Chairman of the event, congratulated the newest couple on their new beginning, urging them to make patience, loyalty, and understanding their motto for the successful lifelong journey of marriage.
The Minister described Itopa as one of his most loyal aides from Kogi Central Senatorial District and a dynamic and cerebral personality who is dedicated and committed to his duty, urging him to also continue such wonderful character even in marriage.
“It is a great delight for me to be here today to witness and chair this beautiful occasion of one of my most loyal aides and eyes in Kogi Central, Mr. Solomon Joseph Itopa, to his beautiful wife, Ohunene.
“I have known Solomon for years, and he is a young, dynamic, and cerebral person. He has been a loyal aide, and so I wanted to appreciate him and let him know that he is a very important part of my team, which was why I took time out of my busy schedule to be here personally.
“The teachings of God in all religions say when you find a wife, you find something unique and good. Marriage is the beginning of a lifelong journey and the most important decision. So, I want to urge the newlyweds to take loyalty, patience, and understanding as their watchwords so that they can build a very successful marriage.
“To my dear people of Kogi State and Ajaokuta, I am happy to announce to you that we have made a milestone achievement towards reviving Ajaokuta Steel Plant with the recent signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Federal Government and the original builders of the Ajaokuta Steel Plant, TPE and its consortium for the rehabilitation and operationalisation of the Steel Plant. And by the special grace of God, once Ajaokuta is functional again, it would create massive opportunities for Nigerians and Kogites. So, it is in our best interest to support the success of this project.
“To the newlyweds, I wish you success in marriage, and God will continue to lift you both from grace to grace,” Prince Audu said.
