President Tinubu will send the N6.6 trillion 2024 supplementary budget to the Senate in July.
Senate spokesperson, Yemi Adaramodu, disclosed this.
Adaramodu, according to a report by The Punch, said that the N6.6tn supplementary budget was still being computed by the executive.
He stated that it would be sent to the National Assembly after its July 2 resumption.
The N6.6tn budget, he said, would provide funding for identified transformational projects, including Lagos-Calabar, Coastal Road; proposed Sokoto-Badagry Road; completion of all ongoing railway projects that had not been provided counterpart funding.
The budget would also fund the rehabilitation and expansion of dams and irrigation schemes to support increased production within the economy, he added.
