VeryDarkMan has disclosed that out of his N180m NGO fund reportedly stolen from his account, N78 million has been successfully recovered.

Verydarkman assured the public that efforts to retrieve the remaining funds were ongoing.

According to VeryDarkMan, the theft was an insider job.

He suspected that some individuals within the organization leaked information to the perpetrators.

To advance the investigation, he announced plans to travel to Ghana, where critical progress in the case, according to him, was expected.

In addition to the theft update, VeryDarkMan also shared troubling information about ongoing cyberattacks targeting the MVOI website since its launch.

A detailed report showed that the highest attack activity occurred on December 17, with 590 attempts originating from a U.S.-based IP address, likely using a VPN to mask the true location.

Other attack sources were traced to Israel, Nigeria, Singapore, and Moldova.

The objectives of these attacks were varied, including efforts to disrupt website functionality, unauthorized access to financial data, and denial-of-service (DoS) attempts aimed at overloading the server.

In light of these attacks, VeryDarkMan assured stakeholders that additional security measures had been implemented to protect the website and its users.

The NGO’s team is committed to ensuring the safety of both their digital assets and the ongoing efforts to recover the stolen funds.
